Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Khanewal Model Agriculture Farm here on Monday, the Army chief said Pakistan is a proud, enthusiastic and talented nation. It seems to me that now all Pakistanis should throw away the beggar's bowl. This statement of the Pakistan Army Chief is also special because Pakistan has also received a loan from China. The development comes days after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said That Pakistan has received an additional USD 600 million loan from its ally China to help it increase the country's foreign exchange reserves based on the IMF deal.

According to Geo News, in July this year, the debt of the Government of Pakistan increased to US $ 2.44 billion. This includes an unsecured loan of US $ 2.07 billion from China.

The Army chief said Allah has blessed Pakistan with all the blessings and no power in the world can stop the country's progress.

General Munir said that the state is like a mother and the relationship between the people and the state is one of love and respect. He said security and economy are inter-linked and indispensable to each other.

The Army chief also said that the Pakistan Army was proud to serve its nation, adding that the army derives its strength from the people and vice versa.
